The brands were created in 1945 by H J Kaiser,
the former boss of Graham Paige and by J W Frazer, a business man who made his
fortune during the war fabricating the famous " Liberty sheps ". These
two strong personalities wanted to fabricate a really innovative car to beat
the three big. For the cost reasons they had to contented themselves with a
car technically similar to the others but with the first new body after the
war in the U.S.
The Kaisers and the Frazers are actually identical, with few different details.
The Frazer is positioned in high class, it's in competition with more performing
cars by Chrysler and Buick. The Kaiser is just underneath, with a worse finishing.
At their starting-up, the success is considerable but it will not last.
The compact Henry J will not meet the expected success, in 1951 Frazer disappeared
and Kaiser is completely redesigned in a very successful style which will last
until the brand's disappearance in 1955.
The equipment was sent to Argentina, the produced cars sold as a brand Carabella.
